WK Maybe the more expensive model is better but this works just fine. Typically I just scrape some concentrate onto it and then hold the button for a couple seconds and the glob falls off.
You can vaporizer the stuff off the tool if you hold the power so you need to pulse it a little.
Conveniently the Yocan Orbit I use it with has a flat surface in the bowl do I'll just put it inside that and drop it directly into it without worrying about damaging any coils.
There's always a little residue leftover on the tool that doesn't fall off completely though, but it's very negligible and d8 is very cheap so it's really not even worth sweating. You can easily just wipe the rest off while it's still hot with a q-tips but honestly I just leave it.. It's like a seasoned cast iron..
I've used it on $40/g rosin before too, I'd be a bit more careful with valuable concentrates and try to minimize the amount of surface used on the tool for those.
With d8 though, just go to town and scrape a big glob.
This thing is cheap at $15 and worth it just for the amount of time saved. My ritual used to involve using silicon mats and a tiny silicon jar I'd use as a sort of thimble to get concentrates to the very tip of my dab tool, maybe take a couple minutes all said and done but now I spend like 30 seconds max.
