What’s the difference between the tincture and vape calculators?
The tincture calculator is designed for MCT oil-based formulations with concentration in mg/mL. The vape calculator uses percentage-based formulation for pure cannabinoid blends (no carrier oil) with optional terpene additions. Never use MCT oil in vape products!
How do I know if my hemp product is federally legal?
Use our 0.3% THC Limit Calculator to verify your product contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight, as required by the 2018 Farm Bill. Remember that state laws may vary, so always check your local regulations.
Can I save my calculations?

What equipment do I need for cannabinoid formulation?
At minimum, you need a precision scale accurate to 0.01g (milligram scale for smaller batches), clean mixing containers (glass preferred), and gentle heat source. For tinctures, add MCT oil. For vapes, you’ll need cannabinoid distillates/isolates and food-grade terpenes designed for inhalation.
Are there any safety precautions I should take?
Always work in a clean environment with clean equipment. For vape products, never use MCT oil, vitamin E acetate, or other oil-based additives – only use terpenes designed for inhalation. When working with cannabinoids, start with lower concentrations and test thoroughly. For commercial products, always conduct third-party lab testing.
