400mAh Battery with USB Type-C Charging
The Flat 2.0 Mini carries a 400mAh battery, an increase over the original Flat Mini, allowing for longer periods between charges. Power is delivered over USB Type-C, which charges faster and more consistently than the older micro-USB standard it replaces. A full charge takes approximately one hour.
Informative OLED Display
The original Flat Series had no screen. The Flat 2.0 Mini adds a small OLED display set below the circular power button, reporting the current voltage setting, remaining battery level, a puff counter, and an ohm reading for the attached cartridge. Having those four values visible removes the guesswork from adjusting the device mid-session.
Precision Voltage Control
Output is adjustable from 1.8V to 4.2V in 0.1V increments, rather than the two or three fixed presets common to batteries in this size class. Lower settings preserve more of a cartridge’s flavor profile, while higher settings produce denser vapor. The narrow increments make it practical to match the battery to a specific cartridge instead of settling for the nearest preset.
Stainless Steel Construction
The housing is built from high-grade stainless steel rather than the polymer used on most compact batteries. The result is a more substantial weight in the hand, a smooth surface finish, and better resistance to the daily wear and accidental impacts a pocket-carried device accumulates over time.
Universal 510-Threaded Connection
The Flat 2.0 Mini uses a standard 510-threaded connection and accepts cartridges rated above 0.8 ohms. 510 is the most widely adopted cartridge format on the market, so the battery is compatible with the large majority of cartridges available and makes switching between them straightforward.
Preheat and Safety Features
A 10-second preheat cycle runs at 1.8V to loosen thicker oils ahead of a draw. The device also includes a 15-second cutoff to prevent continuous firing and shuts down automatically after one hour of inactivity.
