- 1 x Glass Vortex Cap – V5 Micro Diffuser Compatible
- 2mm or 3-4mm thick glass options
- Integral 14mm Male Glass Joint
This Glass Vortex Cap is a borosilicate glass airflow cap for the V5 Micro Diffuser. It has an integral 14mm male water tool adapter, which allows replacing the original airflow cap and pairing it with a 14mm female joint hydrotube (such as the Hubble Bubble).
Because it’s glass, this Vortex Cap does have added advantages when it comes to delivering smoother and more flavorful vapor. You can choose from two options – one made from regular glass (approximately 2mm thick) or one made of thick glass (around 3-4mm thick).
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the V5 Micro Diffuser?
The V5 Micro Diffuser is a 510-threaded offering from the Divine Tribe and SZ Crossing collaboration, thus the name Divine Crossing. Within the ceramic base and walls is a heated cup with elements, which makes temperature control accurate to around 10C. This also makes the dabbing surface almost uniformly heated.
What makes the V5 Micro Diffuser great?
What makes the V5 Micro Diffuser extremely efficient for micro-dosing with tiny dabs or for getting the most from larger loads is its accurate temperature control, a fully heated smooth ceramic cup surface, and the vortex airflow design.
Because of the ceramic cup, you get a pure and accurate flavor profile from your concentrates as well as very smooth vapor. The recessed window in the airflow cap allows you to see what is going on with your concentrates as you vape.
Can I use the V5 on wattage mode?
Yes, but you risk burning your material, which will reduce your experience. In terms of wattage mode, we recommend using a dedicated wattage-based coil or a diffuser/vaporizer, preferably with a stick-resistant surface such as Silicon Carbide (SiC).
What is the difference between the V5 and the V4 Crucible?
Similar to the V4 Crucible, the V5 Micro Diffuser is rebuildable with replaceable coils but has an upgraded heater installation design, airflow, functionality, and a directly heated dabbing surface! Its built-in heat sink is also very effective at stopping your mod from heating up, even when you're performing burn-off cycles.
Is the V5 compatible with V4 Crucible bottomless bangers and glass caps?
The V5 Micro Diffuser has its own range of glassware, as it has different dimensions.
What should I look for when shopping for vape kits?
You have to choose kits that are capable of producing clean and tasty vapor and preferably one that can be used with temperature control or have variable power control that will allow you to personalize the vapor that your setup provides.
The kit should be made of high-quality materials to ensure the safety of the user, which means no glues or dyes in the vapor path.
Your vaporizer should use long-lasting heaters, preferably replaceable, as this will minimize the running costs and save the environment - no need to throw away the whole device when the heater becomes unusable.
